Staff, Wardens & Readers
Please find below an introduction to our church staff, church wardens and licensed readers.
David has been the minister since October 2010. It is rumoured that he has a passing interest in rugby. You can follow his blog here:
Rachel works in the church office mornings during term-time, keeping everything at St Pat's running smoothly. She's the best person to get in touch with for any general questions about the church and our activities.
Helen is our Children and Families Minister and overseas all activities for families with children 0-11. Helen is kept very busy with her 2 children, baking, crafting and running.
Sam is the assistant minister here at St Patrick's and among a number of things is responsible for youth work. Sam is originally from Chesterfield in Derbyshire, he loves an endurance challenge, Nandos, and would never turn down a custard cream.
Dave is a church warden and also a licensed reader. Readers are volunteers in the church who are specially trained by the Diocese to preach (teach the Bible) and lead services.
Toni is a licensed reader. Readers are volunteers in the church who are specially trained by the Diocese to preach (teach the Bible) and lead services.
Anna is a church warden who helps oversee the running of St Patrick's.
Stella is a pastoral assistant. Stella is authorised by the Diocese to help develop caring and pastoral work on behalf of the church, in a voluntary capacity.
