Youth

images-Youth

Our youth group has many exciting activities and opportunities for young people to make friends, grow in their faith and serve alongside the adults in the church.  Below you can find out information about our groups.  If you've like to have a conversation or ask any questions about our youth group activities then please don't hesitate to contact the church office who will put you in contact with one of our team of youth leaders.

Sundays

FROG (Fully Relying On God) (age 11-14)
Time: 10.45
Where: Church
Finishes: 11.45am

FROG stands for Fully Relying On God.  At 10.30am we join the main morning service for about 15 minutes, then we make our way together out of the service for a fun and lively time looking at the Bible together.

4:Twelve (age 14-18)
Time: 7.30pm every Sunday
Where: Church Centre
Finishes: 9.00pm

The name 4:Twelve stands is a reference to 1 Timothy 4:12, 'Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.' This group meets at 7.30pm every Sunday in term time. (This is immediately after Lifetime, which is the most popular church service among our young people). We spend 90 minutes hanging out, playing group games, eating whatever snacks are around and learning more about what it means to be a Christian. Anyone in school years 10-13 is welcome to attend any of our meetings.

Socials

We aim to run at least one social per half term for each of our youth groups, with a mix of relaxed and more adventurous activities. We've recently BBQ'ed, and managed to escape from an escape room, as well as travelled into London for the Sorted youth event!

Our FROGS had a great time with glow sticks during our night hike to Oaks Park!
