We are delighted that you are interested in finding out more about St Patrick's Church and how we may be able to help you settle in this area. We want to wish you a warm welcome and look forward to getting to know you.
Help in settling in to the Sutton area
If you would like some neighbourly advice and to get to know some local people, we would be happy to help, whether you come to church or not. Ways in which we could help include:
church members willing to offer general advice, introductions and recommendations;
advice on setting up a business in the UK;
advice on navigating the 11+ system for entry to local grammar schools;
guided local walks;
picnics in local parks;
English conversation classes – probably starting September 2021.
To find out more on these “Hong Kong specific” issues, please either email HKwelcome@stpats.org.uk, or ring Ros Johnson on 07952 191044.
Church services and groups
The easiest way to meet us would be to come to our 10.30 am Sunday morning service, where there are also groups for children aged 3 -14. You would be very welcome whether you are Christians or not. But please note that until COVID restrictions are relaxed, you will need to book tickets in advance for the service. You can book tickets here: Sunday Service
Many other normal church activities have been suspended or moved to Zoom during the coronavirus pandemic. Some have cautiously restarted meeting in person, including a group for young people aged 15 - 18. To find out more just contact the Church Office.
